Due to negligence, car accident can happen any time. The number of accidents that happen every year increases. The number continues to increase this can be very alarming especially to the young drivers. This can be a life changing experience – a very tragic one. The damage caused by the accident is unforgivable especially the death of a loved one. No one is willing to bargain the life of the person in lieu of the compensation award. But the law has provided this claim to at least ease the pain of the concerned party.

Driver error is the most common cause of auto accident. A lot of drivers are violating the traffic rules and safety driving rules. Some of the things that contribute to this error are intoxication of drugs, alcohol, sending text messages as well us answering & talking phone calls. If the driver is under the influence of any of this, they are subjected to criminal violation and civil suit.

The car accident is not only caused by driver error. There are other factors that can contribute to this like violating traffic rules, driving distractions, and equipment failure. A lot of drivers do not follow traffic rules for some reasons. Among the common violations drivers have are over speeding, inappropriate changing of lane, and they do not offer proper right of way for other drivers.

Today, the distractions in driving are the major cause of the auto accidents – especially among the youth. They are fond of sending text while driving. They also take and answer phone call that they failed to pay attention to the road and traffic signs. Some of them are also applying make ups while steering the wheel.
