Are you due for an oil change? Well, when you get to the mechanic to change your oil they might ask you if you want regular oil or synthetic oil. More and more people are choosing synthetic. The reason you hear about more people converting over to synthetic oil is that it is just advanced in so many ways.

Synthetic oil is a popular choice because it can save you money and it lasts as much as three times longer than conventional oil. This is because it can handle higher temperatures and still not break down. The initial cost can be twice what you pay for regular oil, but the results are way more advanced. It lasts three times what regular oil costs.

Synthetics are actually formed from chemicals which are not actually less harmful to the environment, but regular oil is derived from petroleum which is a natural resource which will soon run out.
